South West Trip – Columbus

Spend your summer with other international students and with IFI staff and volunteers and visit some of the most famous national parks in the United States.  This trip is a lot of fun for everyone involved.  You will come back to Ohio with many special memories and lots of fabulous pictures of the great outdoors.

Cost for this trip is $1,249 and includes round trip air fare to Salt Lake City, Utah, transportation, lodging, sightseeing and some meals.  During the trip we will travel in 11 passenger vans.

Each trip will have an optional rafting activity.  Estimate of personal meal costs is $100-$150.

Lodging will be in motels and cabins with four guys and four girls per room, two per queen size bed.  There will also be one night with an American host family.

We will visit the following parks:
·         Bryce Canyon – See the wondrous colors of the limestone rocks and a panoramic view of three states!
·         Zion – Hike the endless possibilities at this oldest national park in Utah!
·         Grand Canyon – Visit one of the seven natural wonders of the world!  This beautiful park stretches across the
dessert highlands of Northern Arizona.
·         Monument Valley – Experience the amazing buttes, mesas, canyons, and free standing rock formations where
more than 300,000 Navajo people lived years ago!
·         Mesa Verde – View and hike the amazing cliff dwellings!
·         Arches – See over 2,000 natural sandstone arches and other unusual rock formations.
